✨ MAGIC OF THE DAY ✨
This is the face of rest after 9 hours of sleep and a float 😌
.
Few weeks ago, someone told me they were going for a float at Floatworks. I’ve been to one nearly two years ago and loved it. I had the thought, “I’d love to go again.” Two days after, I’ve got gifted a float session 😍
.
If you’ve never done it, this is how floating works: You go into an isolation tank filled with super salty water. It is similar to taking a bath, but you’re in total darkness floating and only thing you can hear is your own heartbeat and your breath. You can have the lights on if this is too intense for you. If you surrender and let go, it is heaven ✨
.
It’s great for jet lag, sore muscles and anxiety. It calms down your nervous system and reduces stress. You can sometimes get out of body experiences.
.
My experience is, it’s very similar to deep meditation state you go into when you meditate for longer where you’re nothing and everything, you’re just empty.
.
I booked this float after last week where I did a lot of work. I learnt to rest well after doing a lot, otherwise I loose my excitement, enthusiasm for things and I burn out.
.
Resting is as important as doing even though my Ego doesn’t always like it ☺️ It is also giving yourself permission to celebrate your achievements, to be grateful for what you created.
