The other day, I went to see the movie Yuli with my mum.

It’s the story of Carlos Acosta, the first black dancer to be in The Royal Ballet in London performing some of the most famous ballet roles all around the world. After everything he accomplished, he does something beautiful. I don’t want to tell and spoil it for you 😃

In one of the scenes his teacher was telling him how he can be a great dancer, but to be a great artist he has to go deep within himself and share his story vulnerably. And he does that 🤗

It really touched me because when you go deep into yourself and share the gold you find after sweat and tears, that is what’s unique to you and that is what you will share with the world. You don’t have to be an artist literally, you’re the creator and artist of your own life 🎨

It’s one of the most beautiful films I’ve seen in a long time and it’s him acting as himself! Just go watch it 😍❤️
