Around this time of the year, when the days are getting darker and the weather is feeling colder, it’s natural that our internal darkness and heaviness comes up.

You might be feeling down, depressed or generally feeling a bit uninspired. Know that you’re not alone, I go through these emotions all the time and know other people do as well.

You might also be starting to spend time with family which is beautiful but it can also be triggering and bringing up your old memories, resentment and pain to the surface. As Ram Daas said, “If you think you’re enlightened, go spend a week with your family.” Yup 😃

Or you might want to give some time, space and love to yourself if you’re someone who usually takes care of others and takes care of themselves the last.

The first step to let go of something on a deeper level is to accept what happened, feel it fully and let it go. There are millions of ways to let go. In breathwork you let go through breath, sound and movement (aka tears, sweat and some shouting lol). They are all old emotions, old memories and old suffering. It’s not who you are anymore.
