I felt sad today.
I woke up feeling pretty low. I didnโt know what it was about. I was going to go to a networking event, I decided to take it easy and go for a walk instead.

Then I realised I was missing my dad. Acknowledging that, I allowed myself to feel the loss and grief, again crying on tube. The thing with grief is that it comes and goes, you can still be grieving a loved one who passed 10 years ago or a year ago.

Then I went to give a breathwork class, one person booked and they didnโt show. So I took the space to myself to feel the sadness, move my body, cry, make sounds and sweat it out.

I feel so much better now. Free, alive and connected ๐ฅ

Hereโs what you do:
.
- Stand your feet hip distance apart.
- Close your eyes, place hands on heart. This is where you feel.
- Take a deep breath in. Relax your face and jaw.
- Notice how youโre feeling. You always go with your starting point emotion.
- Imagine your hands and body are an extension of your heart. Allow however your body wants to move, move. Donโt judge it, go with it. Itโs not going to look pretty but it will feel real. Thatโs the point.
- You move through it until eventually youโll come to the truth, youโll come to freedom. Trust your body. It knows what itโs doing ๐

I love this because this is human experience. Life is beautiful, painful, transient and incredible and youโre meant to experience it all ๐
