You don’t stop being yourself when you start running your own business.

The opposite. You bring all of you to your business, all your heart, passion, quirks, playfulness, jokes etc.

You can do this whether you’re a teacher, coach, speaker, writer, facilitator, someone who works with people and serves people in some way.

If it’s hard, you’re in your head about it. You’re trying to work it out. It doesn’t have to be hard, it can be effortless and FUN.

I often forget this and make things harder than they are. I create walls that were not there in the first place, I climb them to only realise there was a much easier way all along 😑

Or I turn something I love into a mundane task and kill the joy of it. BUT, I can catch myself quicker now when this happens and come back to the love and joy of what I’m doing, to the reason why I started in the first place.

I’m going to show you the process I use on myself to do exactly that.

- Close your eyes, take a deep breath.
- Drop your awareness down into your heart. You can place your hand on your heart. Connect with your heart. This is where the love of what you offer resides, it’s always there.
- Imagine your heart now, expanding out, connecting with the hearts of people you’re serving. See them as humans just like you.

Now in this connected and loving space, you can ask all your questions,

- What do they need to hear from me?
- How do they find me?
- What changes in their lives after working with me?
.
Anything you write about your offerings, your website, a post, reaching out to someone, try this out, write or speak from this place and see what happens 😉

There is not a way that is set in stone. Be yourself and be real, that’s why people will want to work with you, for everything that makes you YOU 🔥
