👑 THE HEROINE’S JOURNEY 👑
Two weekends ago, I went to a beautiful training led by Hanlie Raath, founder of African Alchemy, combining the female archetypes, mythological stories, alchemy and Jungian approach.

I’ve been drawn to female archetypes a lot more this year. When my friend Celynn Morin reached out to share, it was an obvious yes 😍

WHY ARCHETYPES AND MYTHOLOGY?
.
The archetypes and mythology are there as a reference point, to connect with our humanity, what we have in common and to understand our journey on a deeper level through storytelling.

THERE ARE FOUR ARCHETYPES:

⚔️ THE WARRIOR
💛 THE LOVER (the healer)
✨ THE MAGICIAN (the visionary)
👑 THE QUEEN (the teacher)

⚔️ THE WARRIOR ⚔️
.
The warrior’s all about getting things done, protecting and being independant. It’s about showing up, having clear communication, being disciplined and responsible, setting boundaries and using power in a conscious way.
.
The shadow side (unhealthy) of warrior is rebelling, going against or with authority, being passive aggressive and feeling invisible. There comes a point when the warrior feels something’s missing, realising she needs to be vulnerable. That’s when the lover comes in shifting from doing to being.

💛 THE LOVER 💛
.
The lover’s also the healer, it’s about opening and sharing your heart. This is where the healing happens. Your heart cracks open, to bleed so you grow and evolve. You start to listen to your intuition more. Through embracing the grief, loss and feeling it all, you acknowledge how far you come.
.
The shadow side of the lover is dramatising everything, trying to be perfect, being critical, needing to know and being fixed on what’s not working. As the lover emerges from the darkness, she’s receptive and vulnerable. Her imagination and awareness heightens. Joy and passion comes back into her life, moving into the magician phase.

✨ THE MAGICIAN ✨
.
The magician is also the visionary where you connect to everything through all time and space and truly see. You start to tell your truth with authenticity and connect to your purpose. It’s about the magic, imagination, creation, sensuality and sexuality.

The shadow side of the magician is seducing and mesmerising, being arrogant and avoiding commitment and rules. As the magician becomes integrated in her creativity, sensuality and vision, she moves into her throne in her queendom she starts to create.

👑 THE QUEEN 👑
.
The queen is where everything comes together. Power and love are in harmony, the masculine and the feminine is integrated and all the other archetypes can be drawn from when needed. She’s wise, open and comfortable with the unknown. She makes decisions after sitting back and listening all points of view, creates and grows projects, empowers and celebrates.
.
The shadow side of the queen is rigidity, being positional, bullying or manipulating power.

My natural state is definitely the warrior with bit of a magician. Over the last 3 years, I went through the lover and magician phase where my whole life changed and now coming to queen 😍
.
