🙏🏼 IS LIFE REALLY HARD? 🙏🏼

definitions.jpg

The definitions you put on life, yourself and others create your reality. What you tell yourself becomes what you experience.

You might feel like life is a struggle, that if you’re not struggling, if its easy, then you’re doing something wrong. Or you might feel you don’t have what it takes doubting yourself if you’re capable or good enough.

The thing is, when you tell yourself you don’t have what it takes or you don’t know what you’re doing, you will start looking for the evidence to prove it. You will perpetuate the belief by finding proofs of it everywhere.

.

So what do you do?

You acknowledge the definitions and stories you’re telling yourself, notice how it feels, notice what it tells you to do. Then let that go and choose a definition that will actually serve you.

.

For example, you might be someone who believes life is hard. Life doesn’t have to be hard. There are challenges for sure and things are not always black and white but its up to you to make it even harder than it is or easier than it is.

.

I definitely have this and my default mode is operating like a warrior, creating and overcoming hardships all the time. I catch myself when I tell myself - its hard. It’s not, I’m defining it as hard therefore experiencing it as such.

.

For example:

.

👎🏼 It’s hard - VS - It’s effortless

.

👎🏼 Who am I to? - VS - Who am I not to?

.

👎🏼 I don’t know what I’m doing - VS - I know what I’m doing

.

They have two completely different energies. It’s restriction vs expansion, struggle vs flow, lack vs abundance.

.

A year and a bit ago, I was quite resistant in posting in social media. Even though I did, I was telling myself, “I need to post.” That has a horrible energy to it. “I need to post” is not gonna make you feel inspired to post 😄 So I started telling myself “I choose to receive inspiration to post.”

.

👎🏼 I need to post - VS - I choose to receive inspiration to post

.

This completely changed my relationship to social media. I love it now. I see it as a way of expressing myself, serving you guys, connecting with you and sharing what I do.

.

Here’s what you do when you find yourself in a restricting story and you want to move into a more expanding one:

.

- Close your eyes.

- Take 4 deep breaths.

- Notice what stories and definitions you’re telling yourself.

- Notice how they make you feel. Ask yourself, “What’s the emotion?”

- Ask yourself, “What’s that emotion telling me to do or not do?”

- Imagine a golden ball of light above your head descending onto your head. When it touches your head, your whole body lights up freeing you from everything. You’re connected to everything through all time and space.

- See the story you were telling yourself from this higher perspective now. Almost looking down from a bird’s eye view letting it go.

- Ask yourself, “Which definition will serve me in my highest?”

- Choose to focus on that.

.

It’s all definitions. Notice what you’re telling yourself. Use the power of words to your benefit, not against 🤗

.

Would love to hear your thoughts on this 🙏🏼

.

Love you 💛
