✨ MAGIC OF THE DAY ✨
I was walking to Hampstead Heath today, where I do some work and write posts. I work a lot better here sometimes, so much more in flow.

As I was walking, I saw a dogwalker lady walking 7 dogs at the same time. I smiled at the dogs then looked down avoiding eye contact her, trying to hide my smile. Then I said to myself, “Hang on, what are you doing?”
.
I looked up smiling at her, she smiled back. That made my day. Maybe made her day too, who knows. If I’ve held myself back and not connect, it would have been a lost opportunity to create magic.

Beautiful moments can be find anywhere. They don’t have to be big moments. You loose the magic of subtleties and little moments when you’re looking for a specific outcome. You’re limiting your experience of what’s possible.

How many times do you go - nah, I’m not going to do it? I know I do quite a bit and the opportunity goes by to connect, to say hello, to make a joke.

Notice today, if there’s an opportunity to give a stranger a compliment, say hello, even ask their number hey, why not. Even if you feel a tiny bit of tingle of “maybe?”, go for it 🎉

In the end of the day, we’re all human and we all want to connect. It takes a bit of courage that is available to everyone ✨
