RECEIVE AND ENJOY 🙏🏼

Yesterday I went to Lifespace to give the breathwork class I do Monday mornings. 

.

There’s Ottolenghi nearby and I love their food. It’s beautiful, it’s in Notting Hill. So I went there and had some food to eat on the way back home.
.
I got on the bus and put my earphones in to listen to this podcast. I started eating the food and was like, “Omg this is so good.” I had to stop listening to the podcast to really taste and enjoy the food 😂
.
I stopped the podcast and closed my eyes, full on enjoying myself. It made me think, “Wow actually, how much am I allowing myself to enjoy my life?” All the pleasure and beauty already existing in my life 🌸
.
So whilst eating the food I stopped and received all the enjoyment there is in my life.
.
It’s different than gratitude. It’s enjoyment. It’s more about joy and pleasure. It’s about receiving.
.
Imagine if you’re constantly pushing forward, doing things, never stopping and not receiving all the joy there is in your life, how would you know it’s there in the first place? ✨
.
That Ottolenghi food reminded me to create these spaces in my life to receive and enjoy.
.
So my question for you is:
.✨ Where in your life, could you allow yourself to feel more joy?

And a reminder to create those windows of spaces to slow down, receive and appreciate 🤗
